Bioiberica Prolivet Maintenance Of Hepatic Function

Prolivet® is a complementary food for dogs and cats that helps maintain liver function.

 

How it works:

 

Silybin is the most abundant and active component of silymarin, an extract from the fruit of milk thistle (Silybum marianum).

Silybin neutralizes free radicals, thus protecting liver cells against oxidative damage.

It also inhibits the adhesion of toxins, as well as the production of leukotrienes, which are involved in the inflammatory response. Phosphatidylcholine is the main precursor/metabolite of choline, and the main constituent of bloodstream lipoproteins and cell membranes.

It is also the major constituent of bile, and plays a key role in mitochondrial energy transformation and in the elimination of wastes from cellular metabolism.

 

Recommended Use:

 

Product for the maintenance of liver function in dogs and cats.

 

Administration:

 

It is recommended to administer the tablets on an empty stomach, at least one hour before a meal, to ensure optimal absorption. The animal should have permanent access to water. Prolivet® should be administered orally for a minimum of 30 days.

The administration period may be extended at the veterinarian’s discretion. Daily tablets weight:

-1 tablet Prolivet® 100 Every 5 kg.

-1 tablet Prolivet® 200 Every 10 kg

The administration period may be extended at the veterinarian’s discretion.

1 tablet every 5 kg.
