On many occasions you may have heard about the anxiety of cats when eating, the typical binge eating of cats, or you may have heard that cats must eat many times a day in small quantities.

Nowadays we are all on “autopilot”, in a hurry and we can’t dedicate the time and attention we would like to our pets. That is the reason for this automatic feeder. It facilitates the correct feeding of our cats, without the need for us to invest time in it. So we can enjoy our cat when we get home, knowing that the furry one will be well fed.

FEATURES OF THE CATIT PIXI SMART FEEDER

– You can feed your cat according to the schedule that is best for him. For example, 6 meals a day in portions of 18gr each.

– It has a rear tank with a capacity of 1,2Kg, in which the feed is stored and kept in perfect conditions.

– The size of feed croquettes that can be used in this feeder is the standard one, which is between 7 or 9 mm in diameter.

– It has an airtight ring that seals the tank.

– Inside the top lid, a dehumidifying pad is placed to prevent mold and mildew, which is changed every 30 days.

– Quiet motor with anti-clogging control, so that it detects if a feed pellet has become clogged and rotates in the opposite direction.

– It has a nose-shaped button that allows to offer an extra portion, or more portions depending on the number of times it is pressed. It can be deactivated.

– The base also features two LED status lights.

– The stainless steel bowl is dishwasher safe to keep the feeder clean and hygienic.

– It has battery backup, in case the power goes out, which would last approximately 58 hours.

– Consumes 0.25W when idle and less than 1W when dispensing food.

– Connects to the light via a USB adapter with plug.

The Catit PIXI Smart Feeder has a design based on our office cat Pixi, plus the eating bowl is ergonomically designed to prevent cats’ whiskers from rubbing against the edges of the bowl.

With the Catit® PIXI™ Smart Feeder, you can plan your cat’s feeding on a weekly basis, with up to 12 meals per day. The cat’s feeding plan will repeat as long as you want, so you’ll never forget a single meal! Plus, you can program the times you want the cat to eat or dispense food instantly at the touch of a button! There’s no need to worry about your cat going hungry as it has a real-time feeding summary in the app, optional notifications and the option to share it with friends and family.

PIXI’s little nose can be pressed to dispense an extra portion of food. If the cat is very savvy and discovers this feature, it can also be turned off so it doesn’t work.

Intelligent technology prevents blockages in the food dispensing mechanism.

The feeder will automatically detect when the mechanism is clogged, and clear the blockage before dispensing the programmed amount of food. In the rare event of a persistent clog, the Catit® PIXI ™ app will notify you.

The airtight seal helps preserve the freshness of the food.

After cat food is extruded, it is sprayed with oils that can begin to break down and go rancid once the food is exposed to air. The feeder reservoir has a rubber sealing ring on the lid to keep your cat’s food fresh and crunchy for longer.

The Catit® PIXI™ Feeder can be controlled via a free mobile app developed especially for monitoring Catit smart products. With this handy app you can control many functions of this smart cat feeder remotely and share access directly with family or friends.

With the mobile app, our cats can be cared for anywhere, anytime! Receive automatic notifications when it’s time to refill the feed tank or when each meal is served, serve an extra meal with the swipe of a finger, and schedule all of your cat’s feeding conveniently.

What can we do with the mobile app?

– Dispense food: Instantly dispense a portion of food into the stainless steel bowl.

– Schedule meals: Program the times at which the cat will eat in a 7-day cycle. Allows you to schedule up to 12 meals per day.

– Customize portion size: Adjusts the preset amount of cat meals (number of servings) that the feeder will dispense per meal according to each cat’s specific needs.

– Jam or fill alerts: Receive a notification when the food level is below 10% of the total capacity or in case the feeder is jammed.

– Feed summary: View when the next scheduled feeding will be and if the feeder contains enough food at the current time.

– Activate sound: Play a sound to notify your cat that the food is served.

– APP sharing: You can have multiple people (e.g. family members, cat sitter) control and monitor the feeder by logging into their account in the app.
